About Rich Flores
Early Career
I have been playing golf since early high school, starting as a member of the St. Charles High School Golf Team; later, while serving in the Military, I was a part of the Fort Bragg Golf Team. Aspiring to one day play professional golf, I played a number of Mini-Tour events in Florida from 1980 through 1984, and ultimately have played in 2 PGA Tour events and several Illinois PGA events. Most recently, I had the distinct honor of having been selected as the 2019 recipient of the Illinois PGA Deacon Palmer Award.
Professional Experience
My professional experience has also included responsibilities as the Head Golf Professional at Blackhawk Golf Course in St. Charles, as well as Director of Instruction of The Pheasant Run Resort Golf Academy in St. Charles & Golf Instructor at Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles.
Teaching & Coaching
I have had the pleasure of working, for a number of years, with individuals and golf teams from St. Charles, Geneva and Batavia (Illinois) high schools, as well as the women’s team from Northern Illinois University.
My winter teaching facility includes top-notch, state-of-the-art equipment, and I have the tools necessary to fit your clubs with new grips, as well as adjust the lie and loft on them.
